The agent signs the fingerprint
The wallet that owns agent 10248 signs a short summary of the picture: its fingerprints, who made it, which agent drew it, and a time limit. The picture never leaves the fingerprint.

The registry recovers the signer
The registry works out from the signature itself who signed. Nothing is taken on trust from whoever sent the transaction.

It has to be the owner
That signer is checked against the owner listed in the public agent registry (ERC-8004). If they differ, Monad refuses the registration and no passport is made.
